  Explore: Volae Adjustability

Fore-Aft Adjustment: Each of Volae's frame sizes offer approximately 7 inches of fore-aft adjustment through three sets of frame holes and our proprietary reversible, slotted bracket. The four-hole XL frame offers nearly 10 inches of adjustability. Our quick-adjust allows you to make fore-aft adjustments without tools - a great resource for getting the bike dialed-in.

Fore-Aft Seat Adjustment

Seat Angle Adjustment: Every Volae features approximately 25 degrees of seat angle adjustment with just a twist of a 5mm allen wrench. Our lightweight aluminum telescoping seat stays are the envy of the industry. No flimsy "grenade pins" to rattle around and lose.

Even better, just flip two quick-release levers and the seat removes for transport. Best of all, the bike "remembers" your seat position and recline, making it a snap to put your seat on and go. Set it and forget it!

Seat Angle Adjustment

Handlebar Adjustment: Volae's lightweight alloy riser has a standard 1 1/8" O.D. This allows us (and you) to use any standard 1 1/8" bike stem to tweak your handlebar reach and angle. In addition, Volae's system allows perfect handlebar height by utilizing 4 inches of infinite up/down adjustment on the riser. This allows you to find your perfect handlebar position without clumsy and heavy hinged risers.

Handlebar Height Adjustment

I have been riding recumbents for 4 years and was already sold on the concept when I ordered my new Team this past summer. I have had my Team for about 6 weeks and wow, what a ride. I love the smooth power transmission to the road. For a first iteration model you have certainly done your home work because it has exceeded my expectations. One suggestion would be for braze ons on the riser bar so you wouldn't have to use the friction bottle cage, but hey that's pretty minor. The integral bag on the seat is also a great design, looks sharp as well.
